Congratulations to Assistant Professor Hari Subramoni, who is 1 of just 8 in the country to receive the 2024 Intel Rising Star Faculty Award. It recognizes early-career academic researchers who are leading advancements in technology research. Cheers also to Associate Professor Arnab Nandi, the recipient of this year’s Joel and Ruth Spira Award for Excellence in Education – Lutron Award. Established with an endowment by the Lutron Electronics Foundation in honor of the company’s founders, the award recognizes professors in a selected group of top universities with excellent engineering programs. The U.S. News & World Report’s undergraduate engineering program rankings were recently released. Ohio State’s undergraduate computer science program ranked 40th among 584 programs nationally, and 25th in the artificial intelligence specialty category.
