Our year-end tech showcase features projects from events throughout the year including HackOHI/O, MakeOHI/O, Datafest, IdeaPitch and more. Create your hack this weekend, then work with us to expand and polish your project to present it to Columbus tech professionals in April.

OHI/O Sustainability Team:
OHI/O is working hard to create a year-round community of hackers that are excited about creativity and technology. We will be offering a number of resources and mentorship opportunities to hackers that continue to work on their projects throughout the year.

Check out the AgTech Zone starting at 10:00 AM Saturday in the Danny Price Lounge of the Ohio Union.

The AgTech Zone at HackOHI/O will help foster innovative work in an agriculture sector that is growing in research, employment opportunities, and need for innovation. This includes affordable and sustainable solutions, hi-tech and automated systems, and big-picture data and distribution networks. It will feature space for AgTech-focused projects and hands-on learning, including 3D printers for prototyping, Solidworks and AutoCAD software troubleshooting, Aquaponic and Hydroponic system demonstrations, mentoring from local experts, and more.

The event will take place in the Ohio Union (1739 North High Street). Please be aware of our lockdown: no one will be permitted to enter or exit the building from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM on Sunday, October 22nd. During the lockdown, attendees should remain in the Grand Ballroom except to use the bathroom (and in case of emergency).

The Grand Ballroom is the designated hacking area. The Showcase (Sunday, 2:30 PM) will be held in the Performance hall. In addition, there are several other spaces around the Union where you can find tech talks, relaxation retreats, and gaming - refer to the schedule!
